About Our Expert
Dan Nash is a professional hiking guide and owner of Satori Adventures & Expeditions. He has led adventure and mountaineering expeditions in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He is a board member of the Professional Hiking Guides Association and is a member of the American Mountain Guides Association. Dan is an expert in survival, is trained in Wilderness First-Aid, is a Wilderness First Responder and is certified by the National Professional Guides Association as a Level III guide. He's a life long adventure athlete and keeps busy teaching, testing and reviewing outdoor gear and being the expedition leader on various trips. Dan has backpacked and climbed mountains around the world and is the United States representative for expedition companies in Nepal and Peru.
